I love reptiles. I own a chameleon and box turtle and I would love to breed herps and sell them in my own shop for a living one day. I am currently trying to get a job at a reptile shop in town as to gain some more experience and knowledge and I know it would be a good idea to go to business school or take some business management courses. I was talking to a friend about this the other day and he suggested I look into a breeder school. Know of any? Or maybe just a school that would help me learn more about genetics and biology of animals? Also, how beneficial do you think some veterinary courses would be for the actual breeding other than helping my own sick animals.

I a freelance/ self-employed artist. I am planning to buy a software needed for my business and would like to do so soon. So my question is can I deduct this as a business expenses on my 2009 taxes instead of waiting till next year? What is the deadline for deducting business expenses for the tax year 2009?
I saw this TV ad for some whizzy new purse liner. You can pack it up and move it from purse to purse. The advert says it holds something like 70 different objects, and I wondered: do I even HAVE 70 items in my purse??
So .. without looking, do you think you have 70 objects in your purse? Receipts and papers, business cards, etc would only count as one, I think, since they’d probably be sorted into a single pocket of this pouch thingy.

I’m a 22 year-old senior in college. I’ve never had a job, internship, or really any volunteer experience. I don’t have many friends (people who are willing to contact me to do things and vice versa, and not only me having to contact them to do anything). I have never been on a date, been to a school dance, made out with a girl, receive a bj, or have sex. I try to have a positive outlook on life, but it seems that the reality is grim. I’m graduating in may and I don’t have confidence that I’ll find a job. I don’t have work experience, I’m not the greatest student (have a gpa below 3.0/4.0), I don’t have many business contacts, I’ve been rejected from every job I applied to, I am not good at communicating with others, etc. Also, I don’t want to go to grad school, not yet at least, because I am tired of school, and I don’t think my grades are good enough to get in. I feel like I’m going to end up on the streets somewhere, but I really don’t want that to happen. It’s not a lack of trying. I have tried the correct way and the wrong ways of doing things and they both end the same. It seems like no matter what I do, I fail. Failure in itself is not a bad thing, but constantly failing is a different issue. What’s wrong with me? Can I change (realistically)?
pick an era in US Economic History and characterize it as one of (1) recessionary expenditure gap, (2) inflationary expenditure gap, or (3) cost-push inflation. Do not replicate prior conference threads by selecting the present; rather, use history as your laboratory. Give an indication of why the historical circumstances you identify happened, drawing upon macroeconomic theory.
Please answer the question like the example below:
The period I am selecting is from 1974 I feel it is an inflationary spending gap. The Vietnam war was causing government spending to drive the economy above full employment GDP to supply the military needs. This pushed inflation to 11.0% while holding unemployment at 5.6%. Money had become expensive with a prime interest rate of 8.03 (The money supply did not grow significantly so with the government using a large portion of it businesses not in the military industrial complex were having to pay a premium for operating capital. When I contrasted this with 1944 (another busy war year) the prime rate is flat at 1.5% unemployment is virtually nonexistent at 1.2% ( With most able bodied males involved in the war effort Rosy the riveter (women) entered the workforce in large numbers for the 1st time to keep factories running at maximum possible capacity. ) The reasons for large differences can be found in the controls possible in war economies that were not viable in 1974. Also the war material demands caused massive retooling of existing production capacity much of which had been idled by the depression of the 1930’s. Much this funded by war bonds loans to the government by the public.
